如果句子里既沒有助動詞，也沒有系動詞，改寫方式就會跟上面有所不同。我們需要在疑問句的句首加上 do 或者 does，并且要注意相應地調整時態和形式。例如，如果是過去時的話，句首就要用 did。

我們還是可以先從簡單句入手。對于這類疑問句，需要將用特殊疑問詞來替代相應的句子成分。而且我們通常還需要將單詞順序倒裝——但并非總是如此，需要視具體情況而定。

以下面這句話為例：

Nathan is playing basketball in the park.

內森正在公園打籃球。

針對主語（這里是 Nathan）構建特殊疑問句非常簡單，只需用特殊疑問詞來替換主語。而 Nathan 是人，不是物，所以要用 who。

Who is playing basketball in the park?

誰正在公園里打籃球？

除了主語之外，如果針對其他句子成分提問就需要進行倒裝。

假設我們要對賓語提問，也一樣要用特殊疑問詞進行替換。這句話的賓語是物—— basketball，所以要用 what,先變成：

Nathan is playing what in the park?

然后再變換一下句子結構：

What is Nathan playing in the park?

內森正在公園里玩什么？

注意這類英語疑問句的主語要放在系動詞和主動詞之間。

如果要詢問地點的話，我們就用 where 替換 in the park，然后再將特殊疑問詞放到句首：

Where is Nathan playing basketball?

3. 禮貌性的間接疑問句

有時候直接疑問句可能聽起來很生硬或者不夠友好，特別是在向他人尋求幫助或者在和不熟悉的人打交道時會顯得有些突兀。

不過沒關系，我們還有更禮貌、更友好的提問方式可以選擇——也就是間接疑問句。很簡單：只需在直接疑問句前面加上“Could you please tell me…”或者“Do you know…”等類似的短語。

構成：

直接疑問句：Where is the bookstore?（書店在哪？）

改寫成間接疑問句：

Could you please tell me where the bookstore is?

Do you know where the bookstore is?

請問（您能告訴我）書店在哪（嗎）？

構建間接疑問句時，注意要再次倒裝。直接疑問句中的系動詞“is”放在“bookstore”前面，但在間接疑問句中，系動詞要放到后面。

4. 反義疑問句

反義疑問句是加在句子后面的簡單問句，用于確認或者核實你對某件事的理解是否正確。例如：

The train leaves at 9 a.m., doesn’t it?

火車上午 9:00 開車，對吧？

也可以用于確認你已經知曉或者認定的情況，例如：

You will bring the cake, won’t you?

你會帶蛋糕來的，對嗎？

構成：

構建反義疑問句時是將句子中使用的動詞/助動詞/情態動詞的反義形式用來提問。如果動詞是肯定的（比如“is”)，我們就要用否定形式（“isn’t”)來提問。基本構成如下：

[句子] + , + [句子中所用動詞的反義形式] + [主語代詞]？

It is raining now. → It is raining now, isn’t it?

正在下雨。→ 正在下雨，對嗎？

Your father isn’t working today. → Your father isn’t working today, is he?

The students are visiting the museum. → The students are visiting the museum, aren’t they?
