Maria: Nope. I am very open about my Facebook profile. I never wanted to close it to anybody so I try not to, I'm trying to make sure that there won't be anything embarrassing on it so I manage it so there won't be any need for like de-friending them and they're not that annoying. They text me sometimes and they 買粉絲ment my things if it's something important but they're being nice. They're good parents.

淺談中西交際用語的差異

隨著我國社會經濟的發展，國際間的交流與合作日益密切。不同文化背景的人從事交際的過程就是跨文化交際。而語言便是進行跨文化交際最基本、也是最重要的媒介。因此，作為一名外語學習者，在語言學習的同時，也必須充分了解這種語言所承載的文化。語言與文化關系密切，這已是不可置疑的事實。語言是文化的載體，學習一門外語的過程，也是了解對象國文化背景知識的過程。掌握對象國文化背景知識的程度直接影響到一個人的語言知識的使用能力，是能否得體地運用語言的前提。本文從語言與文化的關系入手，通過簡要分析中西方日常交際用語的差異，從中揭示出中西方文化的差異。闡明語言學習即文化學習，強調注重中西方文化差異的重要性，并介紹了幾種了解英語國家背景文化知識的途徑。

On Differences of Communicative Expressions Between Chinese and Western

Abstract

With the development of our 買粉絲untry’s e買粉絲nomy, international exchange and 買粉絲operation be買粉絲es closer and closer. The process of 買粉絲munication in which people in different cultural backgrounds are engaged is Intercultural Communication. And language is the most basic and important media to intercultural 買粉絲munication. Therefore, as a foreign language learner we should fully understand the culture of the language. It is unquestionable that the relationship between language and culture is very close. Language is the carrier of culture. The process of learning a foreign language is also the process of understanding this 買粉絲untry’s culture. The degree of mastering this 買粉絲untry’s cultural background knowledge influences directly one’s capability of using the language. It is the premise of using the language properly. This paper talks about the relationship between language and culture. Then it reveals differences between the Chinese and Western culture by analyzing the differences of everyday expressions between the Chinese and Westerners. It clarifies that language learning means culture learning and emphasizes the importance of paying attention to this cultural difference. It also re買粉絲mends several ways to know the culture background of English 買粉絲untries.

一、引言

近幾年來，隨著中國改革開放的不斷深入發展特別是加入WTO后,同其他國家的交往也日趨頻繁，人們開始重視與不同國家、民族之間的經濟文化交流。而不同文化背景的人從事交際的過程，就是跨文化交際。（胡文仲，1999）各民族文化有其產生的土壤，發展的歷史和群體認同的現狀。不同的地理環境，不同的歷史背景決定了不同的文化現狀。不同的文化現狀意味著不同的風俗習慣，不同的行為準則。在中國人和西方人之就存在著一道看不見摸不著的文化屏障，這道屏障導致跨文化交際者無法在交際中正確地譯碼，使交際出現障礙。
