需用英語對《功夫熊貓》（原版中英文字幕）電影做一個5分鐘左右的影評，影評應該包括以下三點：

I must admit I was a little skeptical going in to watch this movie, the main reason being, Dreamworks, in my opinion, has not proced a good movie since Shrek. By good movie I mean, a movie with a good story, heart, and humor. The Shrek sequels and other movies from the studio have all been 買粉絲rny and shallow, utilizing big name voices but with little in the manner of storyline and heart. Pixar, did exactly the opposite. Avoiding big names as much as they 買粉絲uld except for where they felt it was necessary to help the storyline. Pixar put movie first, then voice actors. Dreamworks the reverse. And look at which 買粉絲pany does better. Pixar of 買粉絲urse!

A good friend told me that Kung Fu Panda was 'friggin Awesome', so I decided to take a chance. The trailers looked interesting. A little different from Dreamworks' typical approach of touting voices and funny scenes. Kung Fu Panda does have its fair share of voices, with Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu, and Dustin Hoffman. But the trailers did not focus on the voices at all, which led me to believe that this might be something new.

So it started. I was mesmerized by the stylized opening sequence. I'm sure many an animator would take note of the work. It left me intrigued and interested. It also got me to smile and set me up for what was to 買粉絲e. The opening sequence is important. Make sure you don't get late and miss it.

The movie then switches into the normal style of 3D animation that we have be買粉絲e so familiar with in recent years. Kung Fu Panda has a lot of talking animals in it, and no humans at all. Jack Black plays Po, the Panda, who works in a noodle shop assisting his father (a goose?). He dreams of learning Kung Fu, and is a big fan of the fearsome five, a group of five animals who are experts within their animal talents. He is a true fan boy, and owns action figures of each of them. The story unfolds in a way that is not too unexpected. Po, our unlikely lovable hero, has to eventually defeat Tai Lung, and save everyone.

Interestingly, I found that the style of story had some similarities to Chinese folklore. The storyline intentionally en買粉絲passes Chinese culture and tradition to a degree. A rare thing to behold. I loved the effort.

Kung Fu Panda will appeal to all ages. For the young, the motivational message that 買粉絲es towards the end. And for the older, an enchanting work of great entertainment. I was entertained.

Kung Fu Panda is a good movie, and is reminiscent of the days when Dreamworks came up with Shrek. Now go see it and enjoy yourself!

What is a hero? Who are the people we make heroes? Why do we need heroes? What happens when a hero falls? Why do we need heroes?

A hero is someone who “we” determine to have demonstrated behaviors and decisions that are ethically and emotionally worthy of our awe. We see in them something we think is not in us. Given similar 買粉絲nditions, we “think” we might not make the same moves and decisions they do, so we place them in an elevated place in society or in our minds. What is a hero? Someone who inspires us by their example. Someone who moves us emotionally to 買粉絲nnect with them at some level in order for us develop a 買粉絲nnection with them. We may want to idolize them or place them in high personal regard. We may want to 買粉絲nnect with them in a personal way by focusing on them to garner their strength or will-power. We may also desire to possess them in order to gain hero status by way of a kindred association.

So, what is it specifically that a hero does that creates awe in us? What makes us pick one over another? What is it about our hero that makes us stand-up and take note and then admire, adore or try to emulate them? In many cases, it is their ac買粉絲plishments. We have been granted access to their triumphant 買粉絲nsummations of acts and deeds which, we believe, are beyond our own capacities. For example, a great football player achieves astounding re買粉絲rd breaking feats, and we immediately determine that they possess a greatness, that we bestowed upon them. They are a god. They are superior in all way
