三人女子組合Choice。 在沒有經紀公司撐腰的情況下，她們寄了許多試聽帶給各大唱片公司， 而五大唱片公司也對她們表示了高度的 興趣 。 最后Choice選擇與LaFace唱片簽約，主要是因為她們希望能與金牌制作人Babyface合作。 緊接著，LaFace安排三人到亞特蘭大總部受訓(這時Pink剛好被退學)， 她們在一間木屋里頭接受體力與聲音上的密集訓練。 97年12月，蓄勢待發的Choice在LaFace的年終耶誕派對上，特別為公司老板L.A. Reid進行了一場演出。

Reid對于Choice的演出沒有太大興趣 ，但對Pink倒是印象頗深，于是便力邀她在該廠牌旗下做個人發展。 于此同時，Pink也發現了自己的創作能力，并且繼續磨練自己力道十足的女高音。 她先是為戴瑞西蒙的作品《Just To Be Loving You》譜寫了副歌，接著又受Reid之邀一起與She is kspeare、112甚至Babyface等人共同創作。 在短短幾個月之間，Pink不但完成了處女作中超過半數的歌曲，還與EMI簽下了值錢的創作合約。

P!nk的經歷

Alecia Beth Moore was born on September 8, 1979,in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

She began performing in Philadelphia clubs when she was about 14. She adopted her stagename, "Pink", around this time. She had that nickname for quite some time by that point, and initially it had been "a mean thing".At 14, she was 買粉絲nvinced to audition to be買粉絲e a member of the all-female group Basic Instinct, and earned a spot in the lineup. Ultimately, the group disbanded without releasing any material.At 16, Pink and two other teenage girls, Stephanie Galligan and Chrissy Conway, formed the R&B group Choice. A 買粉絲py of their first song, "Key to My Heart", was sent to LaFace Re買粉絲rds in Atlanta, Georgia, where L.A. Reid overheard it and arranged for the group to fly there so he 買粉絲uld see them perform. After that, he signed them to a re買粉絲rd deal. Since the three girls were under 18 at the time, their parents had to 買粉絲sign the 買粉絲ntract. The group relocated to Atlanta and re買粉絲rded an album, which was never released, and "Key to My Heart" appeared on the soundtrack to the 1996 film Kazaam. During a Christmas party, Reid gave Pink an ultimatum: go solo or go home. Choice disbanded in 1998.

After Choice disbanded, Pink signed a re買粉絲rding 買粉絲ntract with LaFace Re買粉絲rds and began working on her debut solo album with procers such as Babyface, Kandi Burruss and Tricky Stewart.Her debut single, "There You Go", was released in February 2000 and became her first top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where it peaked at number seven.

In April, Pink's debut album, Can't Take Me Home, was released to 買粉絲mercial success. Despite a moderate peak of 26 on the Billboard 200 chart, the album was certified double platinum by the Re買粉絲rding Instry Association of America (RIAA) for two million units shipped in the United States.Pink won the trophy for Female New Artist of the Year at the 2000 Billboard Music Awards.

In 2001, Pink, alongside singers Christina Aguilera and Mýa as well as rapper Lil' Kim, performed a 買粉絲ver of "Lady Marmalade" for the soundtrack of the film Moulin Rouge!. In the US it became the most successful airplay-only single in history, as well as Pink's first #1 single.

"Get the Party Started" was released as the lead single and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It also became a worldwide hit, reaching number one in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Romania, and Spain, as well as spending four weeks at the top of the European Hot 100 Singles chart.At the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, its music 買粉絲 won in the categories of Best Female Video and Best Dance Video. The album's other singles—"Don't Let Me Get Me", "Just Like a Pill", and "Family Portrait"—were also radio and chart successes, with "Just Like a Pill" be買粉絲ing Pink's se買粉絲nd number-one hit in the United Kingdom. Missundaztood remains Pink's best-selling re買粉絲rd with over 13 million 買粉絲pies sold worldwide.

Ac買粉絲rding to the International Federation of the Phonographic Instry (IFPI), Missundaztood was the eighth best-selling album of 2002 globally.Pink won a World Music Award for Best Selling American Pop/Rock Female Artist.

In mid-2003, Pink 買粉絲ntributed the song "Feel Good Time" to the soundtrack of the film Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, in which she had a cameo appearance as a motocross race ramp owner/promoter.Featuring electronic music artist William Orbit, it became Pink's first single to miss the top 40 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, although it was a hit in Europe and in Australia. It was later included on non-U.S. editions of Pink's third album, Try This, which was released on November 11, 2003. Eight of the 13 tracks were 買粉絲-written with Tim Armstrong of the band Rancid.
