英文的翻譯原則介紹如下：

(一)忠實原則

在商務英語翻譯中，譯語語篇對源語語篇的忠實，是要求譯者能準確地將原文語言的信息用譯文語言表達出來，相比起形式，意義更為重要，因此無需刻意苛求語法與句子結構的一致，而應追求信息對等。

如涉及貿易、合同、保險、金融等領域的商務體裁的文章，則譯文應該從措辭、結構及行文方式上忠實于源語的語言與行文規范，以再現嚴謹和正式的語篇。

例1.If the forward exchange rate is higher than the spot rate，we call it forwardpremium，and if it is lower，we call it forward dis買粉絲unt.

譯文：遠期匯率如果比近期匯率要高，那么我們將稱之為“遠期升水”，反之，我們則稱之為“遠期貼水”。

(二)準確原則

準確原則指翻譯過程中選詞要準確，概念表達要確切，數據與單位要精確，尤其是商務英語中出現的大量專業詞匯、縮略語等等，以實現譯文在規范性、禮貌性與功能等方面的對等。

例2.General cargo vessel：a vessel designed to handle break bulk cargo such as bags.cartons，cases，crates and drums，either indivially or in unitized or palletized loads.

原譯：

普通貨船：一種設計用來或單獨或聯合或平行地裝載諸如包裹、紙板箱、箱子、板條箱和圓桶等散裝貨物的貨船。

此例中的四處術語，原譯文翻譯得不夠精確，只有采用準確的術語，才能符合譯文語篇使用者的要求，讓讀者一樣感受到專業的語境。
