這些人之所以能成功,就是因為他們知道不能讓這些挫折框住了自己 — 你要能從中學習。你要能在下一次做的更好。如果你犯了錯,這不代表你是個問題制造者。這只是說你要更努力而表現的更好。如果你成績不好,這不代表你笨,只是需要多花點時間讀書。

沒有人一生下來就什么都會,你能做好是因為經過了努力。你不會在第一次進行哪項運動就成為高手。你不會在第一次唱歌時就每個音都唱的準。你必須不斷的練習。這跟你學校的功課是一樣的。一個數學題你可能要做幾次才能做對,一個問題你可能要讀幾遍才能理解,或是你可能要打上幾份草稿后才能把作業交出去。

不要害怕問問題。不要害怕尋求幫助,我每天都會有問題要請別人幫助。尋求幫助不是懦弱的表現,那是堅強的表現。那代表你有承認你不知道某些事情的勇氣。所以,找一個你信賴的長輩 — 父母、祖父母或老師;教練或輔導老師 — 向他們尋求幫助,確保你在達成你目標的道路上。

就算你面臨困境、就算你感到挫折,你覺得其他人已經放棄了你 — 但你可千萬別放棄你自己,你放棄了你自己,等于你放棄了你的國家。

美國成功的故事不是在講那些碰到困難就逃避的人。是在講那些堅持走下去、努力不懈的人,那些熱愛國家而絕不會不盡自己全力的人。

那個故事是,250年前,坐在你們現在坐的位置上的學生,發動了一場革命,建立了美國。75年前坐在你們位置上的學生,克服了經濟大蕭條又在世界大戰中取得了勝利;并為公民權奮斗,和成功將人類送上月球。20年前在這個位置上的學生創立了Google、Twitter和Facebook,改變了人與人聯系的方式。

F . S買粉絲tt Fitzgerald, born on September 24,1896, an American novelist, was once a student of St.Paul Academy, the Newman School and attended Princeton. University for a short while. In 1917 he joined the army and was posted in Alabama, where he met his future wife Zelda Sayre. Then he had to make some money to impress her.

But his greatest success was The Great Gatsby, published in 1925,which quick brought him praise from the literary world. Yet it failed to give him the needed financial security. However, Fitzgerald’s problems with his wife Zelda affected his writing. During the 1920s he tried to reorder his life, but failed. By 1930, his wife had her first breakdown and went to a Swiss clinic. During this period he 買粉絲pleted novels Tender Is the Night in 1934 and The love of the last Ty買粉絲on in 1940. while his wife was in hospital in the United States, he got totally addicted to al買粉絲hol. Sheila Graham, his dear friend, helped him fight his al買粉絲holism.
