1、提供對象的不同

provide to是把某物提供給某人，是直接的提供者和接受者關系。而 provide for是為某人準備或供給所需要的，此時的"為"往往含有保護和照顧的意味。

2、動作范圍的不同

provide to著重指提供某樣具體的物品或服務。而 provide for的范圍更廣泛，不僅包括物品和服務，還可以是為未來提供準備或者安排。

3、語義深度的不同

provide to多著重于物質的提供，是比較表面的行為。"provide for則著重于一種責任，是一種庇護、照顧和準備，含有更深的感情色彩。

用復合不定代詞寫作文

1. 用復合不定代詞寫一篇文章,文章要包含表中每一個不定代詞,并有定語

復合不定代詞包括something, somebody, someone, anything, anybody, anyone, nothing, nobody, no one, everything, everybody, everyone 等。它們在句中可用作主語、賓語或表語，但不能用作定語。something, someone 等和anything, anyone等的區別與some 和any 的區別一樣，前者一般用于肯定句，后者一般用于否定句、疑問句或條件句（參見any & some）。具體使用時應注意以下幾點：

1.復合不定代詞受定語修飾時，定語應放在它們后面：

There is nothing wrong with the radio. 這收音機沒有毛病。

Have you seen anyone [anybody] famous？你見過名人嗎？

2.指人的復合不定代詞若用作主語，其謂語動詞一般用單數，相應的人稱代詞和物主代詞也用單數he, him, his （不一定指男性）。但在非正式文體中常用復數代詞they, them, their:

Everyone knows this, doesn't he [don't they]？ 人人都知道這一點，不是嗎？

If anybody [anyone] es, ask him [them] to wait. 要是有人來，讓他等著。

3.指事物的復合不定代詞若用作主語，謂語動詞只能用單數，相應的人稱代詞也只能用it，而不用they:Everything is ready, isn't it？一切都準備好了，是嗎？

4.不定代詞anyone, everyone 等只能指人，不能指物，且其后一般不接of 短語。若是指物或后接of 短語，可用any one, every one （分開寫）：any one of the boys (books) 孩子們（書）當中的任何一個（本）
