finish的用法

Finish 是個動詞，基本意思是“結束”“完成”，用法如下：

1、Finish作為及物動詞，后面+名詞，名詞作為賓語。

【例句】She hasnot finished her homework。她沒有完成家庭作業。

2、Finish作為及物動詞，后面+動詞作為賓語時，必須用動詞的ing形式，不能用不定式 to do形式

【例句】I finished cleaning our room last night。我昨晚完成了房間的衛生打掃。

這里就不能用 I finished to clean our room last night。

3、Finish用作不及物動詞。

【例句】My brother did not finish in time 我弟弟沒能及時結束。

4、be finished 的用法：意思是：垮臺了 完蛋了、失敗了

Finish 常用的兩個短語：

（1）finish up  吃光、用完、結束

eg：The big fat finished up everything on the table.

單詞后面加ing的有兩種情況，一種是動名詞，一種是現在分詞。

一、現在分詞

1、做表語，當句子中出現be動詞，如am、is、are時，動詞要加ing表現在進行時。

例句：I am playing football wite my friends.

我正在和朋友踢足球。

2、作補足語，現在分詞可以在see, hear, notice,watch , find 等動詞后做補語。

3、 作定語，單個分詞做定語一般放在所修飾名詞的前面，即前置定語。分詞短語做定語放在所修飾名詞的后面，即后置定語。
