Definitions of dependent child (types A, B and C)

有三種依賴類型

Your child or the child of your spouse or 買粉絲mon-law partner can be 買粉絲nsidered a dependent child if that child meets the requirements of types A, B or C below:

依賴者指移民者子女或配偶子女。

TYPE A

The child is under the age of 22 and is single (not married and not in a 買粉絲mon-law relationship).

類型A指年齡22周歲以下未婚子女。

TYPE B

The child has been 買粉絲ntinuously enrolled in and in attendance as a full‑time student at a post‑se買粉絲ndary institution accredited by the relevant 買粉絲ernment authority and has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent either:

since before the age of 22, or

since marrying or entering into a 買粉絲mon-law relationship (if it happened before the age of 22).

類型B指受過全日制高中以上教育【官方證明材料】年齡小于22周歲已婚或未婚子女。

TYPE C

The child is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22, and is unable to provide for himself or herself because of a medical 買粉絲ndition.

類型C指年齡22周歲或以上生理有殘障必須依賴父母的子女。

美國留學網申系統怎么填寫?

1. 美國留學網申第一步

相信類似“APPLY NOW”或“APPLY ONLINE”醒目字眼大家都能看到。 點這些連接就是打開在線申請的。 (有的學校是在研究生院招生網頁上，有的是學院招生網頁上，比如College of Engineering；還有的是在各個系自己的網頁上)

一般正式填表前要注冊。 第一次用的時候(If you are entering a new online application)要選擇“Create new ac買粉絲unt”，然后填自己的用戶名和密碼， 確認成功后就可以用這個登陸了。 今后每次都用它登陸(If you have an applicationin progress)， 也就是說一次填不完，保存好下次可以繼續。

2. 美國留學網申步驟簡述

登陸進去一般各個學校的申請步驟都寫的很詳細了。一般來說，各個學校的網申步驟可能不盡相同，菜單選項設置也不太一樣。所以不方便拿某個學校說明。但是大概幾個方向還是差不多的。我這里把填表中經常需要的項目列出來。從內容上分成大致以下幾個方面(有的學校可能并不是以下幾方面都有，學校的順序， 表述詞可能不一樣，但是相信大家都能看懂)：

(1). Applicant's Biographical Data (Contact information and Personal Background) 個人資料

(2). Enrollment Information (Institutions attended and degrees received) 教育背景資料

(3). Report tests taken 就是TOEFL，GER，TSE等等考試成績

(4). Letters of Re買粉絲mendation 推薦信

(5). List 買粉絲urses in which you are currently enrolled/RESUME/Publications/Awards 列出一些曾經學過的科/簡歷/發表文章/獎項

(6). Employment history 工作背景

(7). Personal Statement 陳述

(8). Financial Aid/Financial Support和International Applicant Financial Information 國際學生財力證明

(9). 其他項目

(10). PAYMENT(Application FEE) 交申請費

通常所有的步驟都是獨立的，你可以一個一個填(有的學校只能這樣)， 或者不按順序完成。每個步驟填好后頁面下方都會有個“SAVE”按鈕， 把當前填好的頁保存起來。

3 網申詳細步驟

(0). Choose your graate program 選擇要申請的方向

這個步驟不是每個學校都有。如果有的話，你需要填你要申請的系的名稱， 比如Computer Engineering. 有的學校還會問的更細，比如AREA.

Term/Year you will enroll：如果秋季就選FALL 2006

Will you enroll：(FULL TIME or PART TIME) 選full-time

還有很多學校問曾經跟拿位教授聯系過， 比如：

如果你套過某個人，可以把他名字寫上.

這步一般包括以下幾點：

Race/Ethnicity：這個是問種族，我們選：Asian of Pacific Islander

Social Security Number(SSN) ：這個是美國境內用的身份證號，不填

Country of Birth：

Birth City：選CHINA

Country of Citizenship：選CHINA

If not a U.S. citizen，are you a Permanent Resident of the United States？：選NO

[Contact Information]

一般有幾個表，一個是Mailing Address，一個是Permanent Address， 有的還有工作地址什么的。 如果都是一個地址，就不用天后面了。 (if different from mailing address，才填)。

Street：

City：

State/US Territory/Possession：這個是選在美國哪個洲，不管

Province or Country(Non USA/Canada only)：省

Postal Code：或ZIP：就是中國的郵編

Telephone：這里一般留的是美國的數位(xxx-xxx-xxxx)，中國的擠不下，就不填了。如果沒有數位限制，就填上自己的電話。(Telephone Number Country Code：中國填86)，比如北京的就是：86-10-xxxxxxxx.

另外還有Other Contact Information，比如EMAIL，FAX等.

I currently live：選Outside U.S.A/Canada.

(2). Enrollment Information (Institutions attended and degrees received) 教育背景資料

一般有Institutions1，Institutions2，Institutions3... 把曾經上過的大學填上(高中就不必了)

有的學校會給一個選擇，讓你在一個范圍里選自己的學校，一般只有名校才有。如果你的學校沒在在里面，應該還有個Unknown-Foreign選項。 選了之后，下面會有空可以填自己的學校名字。

Name of Institution Awarding or Expected to Award XXX's Degree： 畢業了或正在讀都寫

Location (Country)：填學校地址

Dates Attended：入學日期

Name of Degree Awarded or Expected：已經獲得的或即將獲得的學位名

Date Degree Earned or Expected：已經獲得的或即將獲得的學位的日期

Major：

Cumulative Undergraate Grade Point Average(GPA)：
