準確（Correctness)

準確無誤是商業英語信函寫作中最最要的原則。

準確原則不僅僅指單詞拼寫、標點符號無誤，語法、結構格式正確，還應確保信函所涉及的信息、數字、事實準確無誤。

因此，在進行商業英語信函寫作中應反復審核相關信息，如：收信人的職稱、姓名、地址、交貨時間、地點、貨物品質、顏色、尺碼、單價、總價、包裝等。

具體原則是指信函中涉及的內容、信息要詳實具體、豐富生動，表達要完整。

禮貌原則不僅僅體現在使用 Please, thanks you 等這些常規詞匯上面，在書寫過程中需注意把握行文思路。

要遵守國際商務往來慣例；尊重對方風俗習慣；語言表達要客氣有分寸，避免使用命令口氣；多用友好、肯定的語氣，批評建議時盡量用委婉語氣，回復信件要及時。



完整(Completeness)

商務信函應該提供所有必要的信息，使所有相關事件得到闡明和論述，相關問題得到答復和解釋。
