因為英語就業前景一片光明、因為自己本來就喜歡學習外語，有這個天分。

讀高中的時候，就聽很多人說，懂英語出來找工作吃香。都說英語人才稀缺，工資高，都說十幾萬一年。讀書的時候，這個科目也確實學得不錯，每次都是名列前茅。那簡直就是不假思索就可以直接填報英語專業了，目前直接瞄準省內最出名的外語大學。

那時候家鄉經濟剛剛起飛，外貿行業蓬勃發展，到處都是工廠和門市。滿大街的也能見到很多外國人在買產品。所以，幾乎都恨不得自己馬上有那個水平，可以跟他們多交談兩句拿個訂單回來。那時候只要誰說家里有個女兒是懂英語的，那簡直馬上就跟高收入聯想到一起了。年薪十幾萬，反正你就算沒有掙到，別人也當做你已經掙到了。

很希望自己有一天也能學成歸來，讓鄉親們貼上那樣的標簽給自己。那樣生活肯定非常美好，爸爸媽媽也肯定特別有面子吧。就是一種對未來深深的憧憬和一點回報父母的心，激勵著自己學好這門課，考上對口的大學。

自己本來也真的有天賦，一直就是班上的英語課代表。英語成績從來不差，覺得也不難。選專業當然就駕輕就熟了。也想學多一點，能夠看懂那些美劇和聽懂外文廣播。反正就非常向上的一種觀念，滿懷信心地去考取英語專業。當成為大學里面的一員，更加覺得自己的努力沒有白費。
