因為外貿會計必須接觸英文的票據和單據，如果完全不懂英語，可能會造成工作失誤。

一般的外貿公司，信用證都是由單證科，或者儲運科接受審核信用證，并制作單據。審核信用證是非常復雜的，一般的新手在短期內是不可能看懂信用證的，更不用說審核了，審核信用證需要一定的外貿英語水平，最重要的，還需要實踐經驗。
